>> pam :now at 11. union city folks listen up. your commute could be affected tomorrow by a large sinkhole. it's at a major intersection between a middle school and a fire station. and it just seems to keep getting worse by the hour. good evening everyone. i'm pam moore. tonight. crews are still busy trying to clean up a sinkhole. they are at work at alvarado boulevard and new haven street. kron four's philippe djegal is live there now. where just a few hours ago the sinkhole filled up with water. philippe.

>> phillipe :i spoke with the general manager and he said that it was unclear at what point where the water was from and, but now it is clear is from a water main so crews now have a pump ready and are ready to pump the water out this main is underground and has been described bias to the--by the city it is still filled with water, and that is the worry of t d and e because they have a gas line nearby and they're trying to shut it off before the water gets to it crews have been mapping the area for the repair work but that quickly came to a halt all walt bewildered neighbors watched on --al while

the firefighters say nothing has been disrupted by the sinkhole and school will still be in session tomorrow >> pam san francisco police say. a local photographer was keeping thousands of child pornography images on his computer. and was also responsible for shooting video up women's skirts. kron four's jeff bush is live at fisherman's wharf tonight with the details jeff. >> jeff :san francisco police say 50 year old duane ackerman was in possession of thousands of images and videos of exploited children of various ages. he was arrested at his sunset district home earlier this month and when they searched his computers they also found video that was shot in

japantown as well as pier 39 and fisherman's wharf. police say that ackerman visited the tourist areas with the intent of shooting upskirt videos of unsuspecting women. it is unclear how many women were photographed but police say that ackerman used his skill as a photographer to obtain the imagesusing a camera system simmiler to the one on your screen. if the san francisco police department was working with homeland security and the f.b.i. during the investigation and say they are still investigating where ackerman got the images and who he was distributing them to. s.f.p.d. says getting ackerman off the streets was a high priority. >> carlos manfredi : they found thousands, and i mean thousands of pornographic videos and photographs of children both pubesent and prepubesent engaged in sexual acts and acts with adults as well.

>> jeff :police say this is still an open investigation and are trying to find out if there are any more victims in this case. i'm jeff bush, live in san francisco, kron four news. >> pam :new at 11. a muir beach man is arrested. after he allegedly took photographs of co-worker, while she used the restroom the incident happened at the industrial center building in sausalito. the victim says, she was in the woman's restroom in a stall. when she saw 47-year-old christian remington. taking pictures of her. remington has worked as a contract maintenance employee at the office. the victim immediately recognized him. and called police. officers believe this is *not an isolated incident. and they are asking anyone with more information, to call police. tonight. friends and family are mourning the death of three south bay teenagers. jayleen ciriaco, anthony ramos, and oscar avila toledo. were

killed in a car crash last night in san jose. it happened in the area of santa clara and 22nd streets, just before 11 o'clock. officials believe a honda and acura were racing. when the honda spun out. striking a pole and spinning into a tree. the acura drove off. and has not been located. the honda was an unreported stolen car. tonight. friends and family held a vigil to remember the victims. >>:she was very quiet and she was loved dearly we will miss her dearly >> pam :a fourth victim from the crash remains at the hospital in serious condition. investigators have not determined if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. police arrest a pittsburg

woman. after she allegedly committed numerous crimes in the walnut creek and san ramon areas. 34-year- old rebekka white. faces 12- felony complaints. police say, she went on a crime spree back in september. white is accused of stealing several items from two different women's locker rooms at local gyms. including credit cards, vehicle keys and a purse. they say, she then stole the victim's car and went on a shopping spree. using the other victim's money. white is being held on a 500 - thousand dollar bond. tonight antwan johnson faces arson charges... after allegedly setting fire to merchanidise in a bay area walmart. san leandro investigators say, he set fire to the halloween section of the walmart on hesperian boulevard. police have not indicated a motive. but investigators say, security cameras document the entire incident. johnson is being held at santa rita jail. and will be in court tomorrow. foster children. on the verge of losing their home. they are pleading with the state. to save group homes. kron four's j-r stone brings us the story. >> j.r. :save our home, we need

the valley fire. which occurred in lake, napa and sonoma counties. was the third most damaging wildfire in state history. it killed four people. and destroyed nearly two- thousand homes. the economic losses forecast from the fire. in excess of one- point- five *billion dollars. the butte fire. which occured in amador and calaveras counties. was the state's seventh- most damaging wildfire in history. two people died. and caused an estimated 450- million dollars. both fires are fully contained. photographs released by the oakland police department show. eight officers helping the victims of the valley fire. the officers were deployed for five days. back in september. they provided law enforcement support. and assisted families who lost everything. bringing them supplies and as well as support. coming up. the three drifters accused in two high profile bay area murders. appear in court for the first time. a swarm of earthquakes in the east bay. rattles nerves.we'll tell you where.
